Junior Achievement is dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed, through programs which focus on financial literacy, work and career readiness, and entrepreneurship. We envision a world in which young people have the skillset and mindset to build thriving communities.
We provide essential business and life skills which empower students to build their own successful futures and help to close the opportunity gap. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of local schools and students, through in-person or virtual delivery models. We are committed to delivering practical, relevant, and innovative learning experiences that prepare young people to succeed in their careers and to manage their personal finances.
JAGFC staff continue to work on a hybrid in office schedule. Staff can be reached by email and mobile phone. For more information, please contact ja@jagfc.org

JA of Greater Fairfield County Spotlight
JA PARTNER OF THE MONTH : The Raymond P. Lavietes Foundation
Support throughout the years from The Raymond P. Lavietes Foundation has allowed JA of Greater Fairfield County to continue delivering JA curriculum to our students in the Valley area. One of our prominent experiences that funds from Lavietes have helped support is our High School Heroes program, where our high school students become role models for the younger students and improve their presentation and public speaking skills. This past school year, we had students from Ansonia High School and Derby High School participate in this program. We are grateful for the Lavietes Foundation’s support over the years and for helping us bring impactful programs to the Valley region.
